I thought that Kawase's theme of facilitating utterly original dialogues on all 184 days of the Expo would be very interesting and challenging. But I think something interesting and challenging is exactly what we need right now. More than we think, human dialogue often ends up being more about asserting oneself, and there's a lot of guesswork involved. The theater may highlight this, and over the course of the 184 days, our attitudes and thoughts might change in various ways through dialogue. I love the poetry collection “We're All Different, and That's Just Fine” by KANEKO Misuzu. It would be wonderful if we could create a similar atmosphere in Kawase's pavilion. The speech balloon design for the theme is a simple one that flies in a sky of yellow, the theme's color. Dialogue seems very simple but is actually quite difficult. But very challenging dialogue is also very enjoyable. Everyone's interpretation is different, and that's just fine. I designed the uniforms to make the venue for this demonstration more fun.

In this age of advanced technology, we have returned to the founding spirit of Banbutsu Shisei Life Dew. The Beauty Creation Center, which is dedicated to pursuing new forms of beauty, developed this product with the desire to use the power of beauty to advance society and nature, starting with people. The attendants will play a major role in welcoming guests from around the world at the Kawase's Pavilion for the 184 days of the Expo. We hope that Dialogue Beauty will encourage dialogue and that the attendants will feel inspired to do their best every day thanks to their hair and makeup.

Shiseido aims to realize "a sustainable society where people can feel happiness through the power of beauty."

The Dialogue Theater × Shiseido Co-creation Project was born out of resonance with the philosophy of "respecting diversity" that underlies the "dialogue" theme of the Dialogue Theater.
Starting with this "Dialogue Beauty," we are preparing co-creations between Shiseido's sensibility research and
brands that resonate with Producer KAWASE's worldview.

Please look forward to our future initiatives.

As the "prologue" to Dialogue Theater,
we offer visitors the chance to experience a part
of the "dialogue" even before the grand opening.

An In-Car Experience Surrounded
by Thought-Provoking Questions

The entire train's design consists of the key visual. Posters and stickers inside the cars pose various questions to passengers. This gives riders the opportunity to engage in a new dialogue with themselves every day.

Some of the questions appearing inside the cars will also be used in the dialogues at Dialogue Theater. Enjoy this new train ride experience that leads to new discoveries about your daily experience and life in general.
